Spanish Government suspends the advertising of the game due to covid-19 as a consequence of health crisis. This measure has been adopted by the Ministry of Consumer Affairs before the alarm of associations and institutions due to the increase in gambling problems as a result of confinement.

The measures adopted by the ministry headed by Alberto Garzón affect television, radio, YouTube and other audiovisual platforms. During the state of alarm, advertising for online gambling and betting will be specifically limited between 1 a.m. and 5 a.m. This proposal had already been approved previously, however, they had made some specifications, allowing advertising in matches or events that took place after 8 pm.
