Versus is the new bet of the Orenes Group. This company with more than 50 years in the recreational sector in Spain has decided “to compete with the big international operators”, according to Javier López Cerrón, CEO of the company.
For this they have renewed and strengthened their own brand, since “Versus is not only an evolution but a revolution that opens new horizons for the Orenes Group”, López Cerrón explained. Versus wants to become a trademark that anyone will recognize anywhere in the world. Until now the group operated in Spain through the entertainment and chance website VivelaSuerte.
Those users who enter the old website are redirected directly to the current website. This change in strategy has taken place in collaboration with Interbrand and is aimed at consolidating the sports betting division. Currently, the Orenes Group has around 3,000 retail betting terminals installed, of which there are 550 in theaters and 400 in bars.
Versus: quality, avant-garde and success
The creation of this new portal is based on three fundamental pillars, quality, avant-garde and success of the company. During the Versus presentation, the CEO declared that “Versus is not just another brand or product. It brings together everything we are: a winning, avant-garde and quality company. With Versus we double our bet to conquer the digital world, where Orenes has a lot to say. We have to revolutionize this market, continue innovating and creating unique experiences that only we know how to offer ”.
Versus logo continues to have the “VS” characteristics of the old VivelaSuerte brand but with a more modern touch. The color chosen by the creatives has been aquamarine and lilac. During the presentation, the CEO commented that this change in the logo corresponds to a “design in accordance with the new trends in the sector.”
Grupo Orenes: track record and solvency
The Orenes Group has a wide presence throughout the Spanish territory and Mexico. They currently have 11 casinos, 1,500 gambling rooms, 11 bingo halls, and they market arcade machines. In relation to the online division, it has 3,000 betting terminals in halls and bars. The company originated in 1968 and started in the recreational sector as a gaming terminal operator. Orenes Group employs 2,800 people directly and some 800 indirectly.
